About Us

A Few Words

About Us

Violence, property crimes, and homelessness in poverty stricken communities are at an all time high. This is why we strive to educate young black adults and instill in them core values as well as help them establish and maintain “Balance” in life. Especially those who are in the Michiana area suffering from poverty, crime, and abuse/addiction cycles. By executing our founder’s unique system created from his personal experiences with the same issues, we will utilize training, coaching, and home acquisition to give them a stake in the community. As a result, encouraging the young black adults especially males to take more pride in their neighborhood resulting in less violence, crime, and poverty along with helping them generate financial stability and a productive future for themselves as well as their families…..Hope, Education, and Diligence is the key!!

Balanced Life Organization

A partner in the community

Why we are committed

Our founder Antonio Ewing-Gates Sr was born and raised in the poverty stricken
neighborhoods of South Bend, Indiana and as a black male himself that was once
in their position or perhaps may be considered worse, understands the meaning
of the word poverty, struggle and turmoil on a personal level.

Also as a entrepreneur, lifelong resident, and single parent, he understands the voices of
our people in the community and communicates with them on a level that makes him feel relatable and insightful as a result making his words resonate. Inspiring
us to do the same!
